Museum Renovation

Here's what happened...

I created this really cool animated gif (well, I created the animation, Crumb, of course, created the art). It showed a sequence of drawings of a landscape changing slowly from a pastural scene to an industrial one. Railroad tracks, buildings, roads, gas stations, etc. are added. It a very nice work, and it's shown in the Crumb documentary. Well, I guess the gif file was just too big, and it seems that it either took way to long to load, or it would break. This is truly a bummer, because I really wanted people to see it. If you want to try anyway, click on this link...

Animated History of America

I also put the individual images on another page, so if it took too long to load, or if you just wanted to stop and really look at each drawing, you could. Unfortunately, people told me that page also took a pretty long time to load. Give that page a chance here...

Non-Animated History of America

I don't know what I'm going to do. Maybe I'll reduce the size of the gif...or the amount of time between each image. I was really happy with it and now I'm sad. I am aware that art sites are allowed to be a little slow-loading simply because of the nature of art on the 'net. If you have any suggestions, please e-mail me.
